Not the official PAX Gold site
paxgold.finance is an independent review and guide site about PAX Gold (PAXG). It is not the official PAX Gold website and is not operated, endorsed or sponsored by Paxos Trust Company, N.A. or any Paxos group company. We have no affiliation with Paxos. “PAX Gold”, “PAXG” and “Paxos” are names of their respective owners and are used only to identify the product we write about.
The official source for PAXG is paxos.com. Only Paxos can create or redeem PAXG, and only for verified Paxos customers. We cannot act for Paxos or for any exchange.
No financial, investment, tax or legal advice
Everything on this site is general information for educational purposes. Nothing here is financial, investment, tax or legal advice, and nothing is a recommendation or an offer to buy or sell any asset. We do not know your circumstances, goals or risk tolerance.
Tax sections describe the rules as we understood them on the date shown, with links to the national tax authority. Tax law changes and depends on your situation. Speak to a qualified, licensed professional in your country before making decisions.
Risks
Buying, holding or trading PAXG and other crypto-assets carries risk, and you can lose money. Among other things:
- Price risk. PAXG follows the gold price, which can fall sharply. In 2026 gold fell roughly 27% from its January peak to a low around the start of July.
- Issuer and custody risk. You depend on Paxos and its vault custodians. Paxos can freeze, wipe or pause PAXG under its terms and can upgrade the contract.
- Exchange risk. Exchanges can fail, be hacked, freeze withdrawals or lose their licence.
- Technical risk. Sending to the wrong address or network, losing a recovery phrase or interacting with a fake token can mean permanent loss.
- Regulatory risk. Rules differ by country and can change. Paxos says PAXG is currently unavailable in the EU.
Our page on whether PAX Gold is safe covers these risks in more depth. Past performance does not indicate future results, and forecasts on our price prediction page are third-party views, not promises.
Third-party and live data
Live prices, market cap, volume, spot gold and exchange rates come from third-party services, including CoinGecko, gold-api.com, Binance, Coinbase, Kraken and public currency-rate APIs. This data may be delayed, incomplete or wrong, and a service may be unavailable. Do not rely on our widgets to time a trade. Always check the price on the venue where you buy or sell.
Facts in the text are checked on the date shown, but fees, listings, licences and rules can change after that. We aim for accuracy, but we cannot guarantee that every page is complete or current.

We link to third-party websites, including exchanges and regulators. We do not control them and are not responsible for their content, products or security.
